I like visiting and shopping at homedepot. Staff are helpful and friendly. Monthly kid work shop is interesting but it gets filled up in literally seconds. Kids love it, want to host more of these? This location has got a washroom for customer. Check out flyers for deals, they have great promotions once a while. Rental store has a variety of tools choices, affordable to rent. Return policy is generous, and don’t even need to show receipt when purchased on a credit card. Open early and close late are also helpful as well.

After shopping here for a year, no issues. Spent a lot of money here while working at my job. Friendly service no issues.
Yesterday I went to return a makita drill that had stopped working after less then a month. Very un eventful purchase until bringing it home.
I was with the shop attendant she took the box out from the lock cage.
They gave us a used, not working, dirty brown down tool.
My boss is on his way to the store now to try and exchange it again.
This is a serious waste of our time and really disappointing.
I would like to be compensated for my time and I’m sure my boss will be wanting compensation for his time.
Will definitely be considering Rona or Amazon many other places to shop that don’t try and pass of used garbage that should be in the dumpster not in the shelf’s sold as new product.

Came here for a few things for the house and every staff member I approached clearly stated where my items would be found. Vincent was exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure our visit was a good one. He saw me looking at wall plates and approached me to help find what I was looking for. It’s nice coming to a store where the staff are knowledgeable about their products.

No one seems to want to help customers here. I’ve been here twice over the past week to try to buy a Christmas tree and both times I searched for someone to help with no luck. I guess they are losing my $90 for a “6-8 foot” tree ? come on, these at 6’ at best. But we all know how this goes- my issue is the customer service not the tree nonsense…

I was told by 2 different staff at customer service that there was no way to reach someone at gardening and unfortunately there was no one to help over there. These two staff were behind the customer service counter with 2 other staff- that’s 4 employees. There were two other customers being helped there and no customers in gardening.

Update: after waiting for about 15min because my kids were with me and a tree needed to happen a lovely helpful person by the make of Mae who works in garden turned this whole thing around. She helped us find the perfect tree and even sorted out a discount because it was 2’ shorter than the tag color. This was a solid learning experience for my kiddos to see how to navigate situations like this and know that there are folks who are there to help even when it doesn’t seem like it at first. I changed the rating to 4 stars only because of Mae’s excellent customer service.

Vincent and Hassan were quite good in helping us find supplier for truck roof rack in surrey. We didn’t buy anything but they went out of their way anyway. Good people!

Vincent from the plumbing department was an amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. While I was waiting for him, I observed how he tried to help an older woman who clearly was not very familiar with some of her old appliances. He patiently took her to his desk to do some conversions from imperial to metric. I’ve never seen such patient customer service and respect towards an old lady in Home Depot. After he helped her he helped me source 3 different items I needed to install my new dishwasher which did not come in the universal dishwasher installation kit. He ended up saving me some money and I avoided buying parts I didn’t need. I wanted to offer him a private job but sadly he’s not taking on any jobs. He’s actually in the mortgage business but helped his dad build houses before. Vincent is a gem!
