Elisa delivered a fantastic talk to The Physiotherapy Centre team to share her mindfulness expertise. She is so calming, passionate and knowledgeable. The content was relevant to our practice and Elisa explained how mindfulness could benefit many of our clients. I would highly recommend South Coast Mindfulness.

Finding South Coast Mindfulness is one of the best things that has happened to my life. Elisa always offers a compassionate and practical approach to "being in the present moment", understanding that life sometimes gets in the way! It feels that once you have been a part of one of Elisa's groups or online sessions, you haven't just found a supportive, community based way to change your life, but you have found someone who really cares about supporting you in doing just that. I completed the initial Mindfulness Taster Session in May 2019, I then completed the 8 Week MBSR course and I attend the weekly classes. I have been doing Mindfulness with Elisa since May 2019 and have enjoyed every class. I have also made lots of lovely friends along the way.

Elisa has a lovely way of making the people in the group feel comfortable and always explains that people can contribute as much or as little as they wish. I enjoy sharing my own experiences and listening to other people in the group.

I have learned a wide range of strategies to use in various situations and cannot stress the difference it has made to my life. I now view situations differently and can manage stress and anxiety in a positive way, trusting the strategies that I have learned.

Mindfulness helps to keep you in the present moment, reducing the need to worry about past, present and future circumstances. It helps to put the world into perspective and makes you appreciate what you already have. This then allows you space to deal with situations with a fresh perspective.

Through the various exercises, meditations and discussions, Elisa helps her students to explore a range of issues and shares her own experiences.

I will be completing a full day silent retreat in January 2020 which I am looking forward to. I have completed one of these before on the MBSR course. It is a very different experience to the usual classes but is a lovely way to make time for yourself without any expectations.

If anyone is considering doing Mindfulness with South Coast Mindfulness, I cannot strongly recommend it enough. It is life changing! Thank you Elisa for being an amazing teacher!

I attended the eight-week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Course, not having done any formal mindfulness before. The MBSR course was a deep dive into mindfulness practice in a safe, supportive environment with a great teacher, and I'm applying what I have learned every day. Very much recommended!
