Wonderful experience! The food and service was excellent. LaDonna and her family were very kind and welcoming. I had the Filo Dough with a cup of tomato soup. You should definitely give them a try.

Check it out!! Drove by 1,000 times without noticing, but someone mentioned this spot & I decided to try it. Very understated storefront, but don't let that mislead you. Read on. MIF Deli (Mediterranian International Food - had to ask). Just west of Carriage Parkway main entrance, northside, facing Central. Quaint, very clean. Deli counter, but also table service. My wife had the daily special ($14.99) which was Chicken Puffed Pastry, served with a cup of soup or salad (chose Lentil Butternut Squash). I had Chicken Humos Shawarma ($12.99). The special was a HUGE helping. The cream sauce was savory and properly portioned, the puffed pastry was crispy, flaky and delicious... and the white meat chicken was moist & tasty. Served with pita strips. Wow! On to the shawarma. What can one say, other than excellent? Hummus was superb. Generous serving of pita strips on the side. Yum! Service could not have been better. So, this demur little deli went well beyond my expectations. I say "Put this on your bucket-list of Wichita eateries." Highly recommended!

The people are so friendly and the food is good. My only issue is that the prices are insane. I understand businesses have to do what they have to do, especially with inflation. I just feel like $17+ for a sandwich and pasta salad is slightly extreme. I spent nearly $30 on a basic kids meal (grilled cheese and a bag of ruffles) and a sandwich meal for myself, idk, just feels wrong. I went in wanting to try a few different menu items but quickly realized I couldn’t afford that. I would go back but truly can’t afford to eat here!

one of my favorite lunch spots in Wichita. The fattoush salad with its crispy pita is paired perfectly with a bowl of tomato soup
The sundried tomato pesto panini with grilled chicken was packed with flavor, from the rich pesto to the perfectly melty cheese. Whether you're craving Mediterranean flavors or just a quality lunch, MIF Deli never disappoints.

Stopped in to try this hole in wall and was greeted by the nicest staff. Was going to try the spinach and lentil soup but the owner let me sample the tomato basil cream and I immediately changed my ticket. I'm going back again. Today I try the salmon special and can't believe i waited so long please put this on your list of dishes to try
