Levels of rudeness were above and beyond what would be expected in a mens club .
I asked for my epilepsy meds witch I had ordered a week earlier but to my surprise the lady said there not here yet 'I did explain I suffer from tonic colonic seizures and any one could take my life to witch the old lady laughed and said your just going to have to do without them .
These meds are what keep me alive and seizure free every day I just don't get some people it's really saddening to be honest

Highly suitable opening times and the staff has great knowledge about medicines. If you are unsure, they can recommend you a medicine and if required, they can prescribe it. They follow all government guidelines and ethics. Following the Covid-19 guidelines, please note that only 1 person is allowed at a time in the shop.

There was a major problem at my former chemist whose recent staff changes have created utter chaos from a previously good service for my 8 repeat prescriptions plus some additional: prescriptions delayed for weeks long after I run out, despite cost claims from supplier paid and calls never answered (the latter also experienced by my GP surgery) They helped me get an emergency prescription quickly and were very friendly. I forget the lady's name who was key in this, but it starts with S - I'm so sorry, my short term memory is appalling and often for important things! I'll be using them for my deliveries from now.

Poor quality service. I went in and asked for some meds. They were advertising them at 5.24 scanned them through over 6 quid. I challenged the aussie lass and she said the price had gone up. I said she shouldn't be advertising the wrong price and she arrogantly murmed "Well I'll just take it off." Should have honoured the price.
Rude and contemptuous.

Go to Tollcross Pharmacy. Much nicer staff. Better prices too.

A fabulous team who provides person-centered care! We are visiting from Canada and experienced cold-like symptoms. They listened carefully to understand our needs and gave specific helpful advice. The second time I visited the pharmacist asked me how my wife was doing. I don’t even get that from my own pharmacist.

I've been coming to this pharmacy now for a few years: I initially couldn't fault their customer care at all, they were responsive to my individual circumstances and the shop/delivery staff are always friendly. However....

Update: 15th April 2024 - I've downgraded my review from 5 stars to 2 stars because since the start of 2024 I've experienced unacceptable delays in the processing and delivery of my repeat prescription items.

It shouldn't get to a point where I'm complaining to their M&D Head Office. I've just found out that M&D are transitioning away from their website based request system to using an app system called Healthera instead. Why isn't the new Healthera app being publicised?

The level of customer care has been going downhill since 2023 in any case: when the original pharmacist was there when I first joined , everything ran like clockwork but since then I think there have been two changes in on-duty pharmacist in the last couple of years and things just seem to keep declining : my needs and sensitivities as an autistic customer are seemingly no longer being taken into consideration in contrast to the original pharmacist who responded positively and showed much more empathy. Sadly, it's time for me to take my business elsewhere...

To put it politely the staff are completely ignorant absolutely horrible human beings. Both in person and on the phone I was hung up on as I wanted a price on an item to ensure I had enough in my wallet, I was told come in if you want something or don't bother then they hung up.
