Poorly run. I arrived at around 5PM with confirmation in hand and was told that they did not have my room. Seriously? You don’t honor confirmed reservations? You could not call beforehand? Apparently not, as I was sent on my way with no room, no explanations, and no compensation. But, I did get a form letter “apologizing for the inconvenience” and an offer to book me at another hotel somewhere out in the boondocks. Thanks…. After driving all day to get here, it was not the welcome I was hoping for and I will not be staying here or recommending this hotel again.

On work travels we debated booking this hotel looking at the reviews - I have to say we are all really happy we did.
ROOMS: Large, comfortable beds, clean. A little dated but no damage and again very clean.
SERVICE: The staff were all SO NICE. They went above and beyond to talk to our group and ensure we had everything we needed and were so friendly (front desk, marketing and maintenance were all met).
GYM: the gym was small, but had a peloton, elliptical treadmill, and small weight section every time I went, I was alone or one other person. The water refill was outside the gym. Additionally, there is a Pickleball court that we utilized one day, which was super fun.
LOCATION: this location was fantastic. We were right next to two restaurants that were literally in the parking lot and walking to many other. Additionally, the boardwalk along the water heading to town was beautiful felt very safe and very clean a lovely place to run at 4:30 in the morning or walk to town after work.
HAPPY HOUR: the happy hour stole the show. It was not just wine and beer. There was soup salad breadsticks, like Olive Garden as well as cheese and crackers. We ended up just eating there for dinner.

My husband and I had to suddenly find lodging due to a pipe that burst in our crawl space under the house, causing severe saturation. We were told it could take up to 2 weeks to repair and dry out sufficiently. There were limited options of hotels with kitchen's in Vancouver that were within 15 miles of our house, so we chose this one because the location was convenient enough. The location is the only redeeming quality about this place as it's near the river walk. That being said, it is also in the flight path for PDX/Air Force base and close to the train tracks, all which caused consistent noise.

First I will start with when I booked the room, I specifically requested a quiet part of the hotel as I have to work remote. Apparently the only option available was across from the pool and outdoor courtyard area where people eat breakfast daily, drink wine by the fire pit and is generally a noisy, high traffic part of the hotel. Also, upon arrival we saw a sign saying the hotel was doing construction. THIS would have been helpful info to know prior to booking! They should have had it posted on their website. So needless to say, the noise was a HUGE issue.

Now I will move onto the condition of this place. From the outside courtyard, it looks nice. They keep the grounds neat. The lobby looks clean and maintained. The room however was an entirely different story! Before we even walked into the room, we noticed the front door was completely trashed with tons of scuff marks and dirt (we literally had to clean it with clorox bleach to be acceptable). The landing area was also covered in dirt and what looked like maybe bird poop (white drops everywhere). We walk in and the sofa looked like something that should be taken to the garbage dump. It looked like whoever stayed there prior, probably had a dog that scratched the entire lower part of the sofa (see pics). When we called the front desk to request a different sofa, they said the best they could do was cover it. The carpets had several huge stains and I even found a gross clump of what looked like dried dog poop near the bedroom closet. The kitchen was horrible. The fridge was filthy with crumbs everywhere and finger stains all over the outside. The cabinets on the interior where the dishes were, all had discoloration staining and general filth. If this place is cleaned at all, it would be surprising based on the what we walked into. Let's now discuss the beds. They were so soft, you could practically sink in them toward the middle. I had to bolster my covers to prevent me from rolling off in the middle of the night. My back was wrecked after having to sleep in that for 5 nights. The TV is a joke. You cannot type in a number to get to a specific channel. You have to go up and down the channels, one by one to get to where you want.. and it's glacially slow! The chairs at the tiny dining table and the one next to the gross sofa are very uncomfortable. It is a good thing were able to bring some throw pillows from our house to make it barely bearable.

Combined with the condition of the room and the constant sounds of construction going on, it was truly a nightmare experience having to stay here. I'm genuinely shocked that management is clearly neglecting this many maintenance issues. I am not the only person to complain in the reviews about all this. I would never recommend anyone staying at this property.

We had a wonderful time visiting. Great Hotel! We were greeted by Charlie, the front desk staff. She was very friendly and welcoming. Great communication with her.|Very nice clean room along with the hotel itself and with the amenities. We loved it!! |The kitchen food was awesome, along with very nice staff and housekeeping. No complaints! All Professional. Thank You all for a great experience!! Highly recommend!

We are Hilton Honors members so we have stayed at several Homewood suites. This one was less than we expected. The rooms had some things that needed repair and were worn. The carpet was dirty. There weren't mattress covers on the bed which is a big concern for me. Didn't care for the rooms opening to the exterior. The pool was FREEZING even tho the temps were in the high 90s. The hot tub was out of order even tho I was told on the phone it would be repaired before our visit.

Biggest complaint is the pool being used by several locals. The people actually told us so it wasn't just an assumption. The pool should be for hotel guests only!

The breakfast was good tho and the location was nice.

This place is really starting to go downhill… I have been regularly staying here for work for almost 8 years now… the floor and furniture has never changed, and this last stay might be my last time at this hotel. Pubic hair on the toilet, white stains on the couch, stains in the carpet, and a slight odor covered up with the smell of cleaner. I wouldn’t recommend this place until it goes through a major remodel. I’d also like to point out that none of the exterior doors to the property lock anymore, or at least were not locked last night. Only 8 channels in the bedroom but all the channels in the living area…if you dare sit on the couch to watch.

I fully expect the canned response from the manager (or whoever responds to these comments) saying please call the number and/or visit the Hilton support website. If you want to make it right, YOU contact me, and I’ll amend my review.

They don’t allow reviews and photos on their website, and somehow maintain status or 3 or 4 star hotel or whatever. This place is not that, at all.

I've visited this hotel several times. When I first stayed here, I LOVED it. The outdoor pool, hot tub and sport court were the perfect centerpiece of a well-kept place. It sadly has been left in poor repair. Dirty carpets and furniture, broken hot tub (with no sign of a repairman over three days), higher than normal prices. There was a stinky toilet plunger left stinking up our whole hallway on a hot day. The couch was filthy. I was sad Hilton hasn't kept it up.

The customer service at the front desk was terrible the man at the front desk told me to just go out those doors did not point which building was mine. I had to ask guest who were smoking outside where my room was. There was no extra towels or pillows that i requested and even confimed the day of was on my reservation. Called down was told they will get them to me when they can. Asked about resturants or suggestions was told, no we dont do that. I had to call my daughter to ask her about what was close by. They were very rude and definately not hilton standard for customer sevice. The room did not have a shower curtin liner so it flooded the bathroom every time a shower was done had to ask 3 times for more towels. I was told this was a good hotel but was disappointed on the midshifts additude. I was also suprised when i brought it up the next morning. I felt it was just brushed off, it was oh i am sorry to hear that. I feel they need to work on their guest interactions amd bring it up to the hilton standard that guest expect and deserve.
