I have just completed the 8-week MBSR course with Nel. She is a fantastic teacher, with such great insight into helping both beginners and more experienced meditators deepen their practice. Even though we worked in a group Nel was continual mindful of helping everyone individually. I couldn't recommend this course more. This is my first week without it and already missing it.

I completed the 8-week MBSR course at the centre before Christmas. Nel is a fantastic teacher and role model for all things mindfulness. We worked in a small group, everyone was lovely and very open-minded which made it easier to relax and get into the practice. I'm only at the start of my mindfulness journey, but the course gave me practical techniques which I can use every day to manage stress. I'm looking forward to starting the advanced course in the next few months.

I completed the 8 week MBSR course and I highly recommend it. Nel was a great teacher, she was understanding and very informative, she listened openly and guided you in the direction that was best for you. I learnt many different things and techniques that I will continue to use throughout my life. It has helped me deal with feelings and situations better than I did and also helped me to slow down in this fast pace world. If you are ever granted the opportunity to take the course, I would recommend doing it. It is a very welcoming space to join and it is open to anyone.

The 8-week MBSR course from the Glasgow Mindfulness Centre was fantastic. As someone completely new to the practice of meditation and mindfulness, it was amazing to see the difference 8 weekly sessions can make to my daily mindset and the good habits which can form along the way.
As someone who was living elsewhere in the UK at the time, the online Zoom lessons were great and it was fantastic knowing that I could log in and join the class from anywhere!
Nel is a brilliant teacher and I would recommend this course to anyone who is even slightly curious about the practice of mindfulness and the benefits it could bring to their daily life.

I have just completed the 8 week MBSR course and can highly recommend it. Nel is a great teacher with a very calming influence and I found the weekly classes provided a safe space to express what I was feeling. I have incorporated many of the techniques learned into my daily routine which has been very beneficial to my mental well-being.

I recently completed the 8 weeks MBSR online course led by Nel. It was an wonderful experience and I genuinely enjoyed every topic.Her kind and professional teaching method helped me to more focused on the present moment , reduce negative emotions, increase my patience and tolerance and build skills to manage day to day stress. first time in my life I started doing mediation , now its part of my daily routine. I personally believe this is life changing course and I highly recommend this course to anyone.

I have just completed the 8 week MBSR course and cannot speak highly enough of the course teacher and her gentle, compassionate and friendly approach to the teaching of the course. We were a small group and this allowed us to develop a greater understanding of each other during our many interesting discussions. I would strongly recommend the Glasgow Mindfulness Centre to anyone who is interested in living a fuller, more joyous and ultimately less stressful life on a day-to-day basis. This is just the start of my mindfulness journey and I will most certainly be continuing the journey with regular daily practice as well as attending monthly GMC practice session courses. I have just completed the 8 week MBSR with Nel (online because of COVID) - what a fantastic course! Nel is a great teacher - knowledgeable, encouraging, kind, and inspirational. Don't hesitate about doing this course - you'll learn so much, meet fantastic people and you won't look back.
