They have 23 registers, but only two of them manned by someone. They take your money and then make you do all the work by cashing you own self out through self check out. Self check out is supposed to be quick easy and a few items.

This is BY FAR the absolute worst Meijer in the Indy area. Sale items frequently don't ring up on sale. And of course the cashiers will argue with you. I had a cashier tell me there was "no way" an item was on sale because of the original price. It was a bag of candy that was absolutely on sale. And since there were about 7 people already in line at customer service, I left without it, even though I'm planning a birthday party and needed it. They never have anyone available to go check, so they send you to customer service, so their line is always extremely backed up because there are people doing returns and wrong prices, and only one person working customer service. The shelves are always pretty bare when it comes to popular items, which means there are always people stocking. And that would be fine if half of them weren't on their phones, arguing and cursing with/at whoever they're talking to as if there aren't children around. Any time you complain about an experience, they send a response that's gotta be from a generic customer response template, but they never correct anything (I've tried and am tired of wasting my time and money). This Meijer hasn't always been this bad, but in the last 9 months or so has severely declined. I'm going to just go to Target, Kroger, or Walmart... all 3 on Keystone and a reasonable distance from this store. Unfortunately the next nearest Meijer to me is too far to justify going there over a competitor. They don't care anyway.

This is my go to store, the shelves are usually well stocked. The store is always clean and orderly. if you need help the staff is quite friendly and helpful. Parking can be a problem, especially if you’re handicapped. Handicap carts are also sometimes hard to get, but ask someone they will be glad to see if they can find you one. Good selection, large store can be crowded and busy.

This is like my second or third time to the store And every time that I’m there I am utterly amazed. The staff are super friendly from the time you get to door until the time that you leave. This store has everything. I took my time and walk through the whole entire store just to look at bargains and noticed that they had everything from groceries to cell phones to shoes. In addition the store was extremely clean and the staff were engaged in their work activities. The lines were a little long but for the location of the store is pretty much to be expected. Great location, great store, and good prices. You can’t go wrong with the store. Special shout out to Julia R. In Customer Service for handling my transaction. Thank you for providing such professional and courteous customer service.

Shopping inside the store is fine I guess, but their pickup department only has one employee working at any time. She'll call and leave you a message to tell you that your order will be delayed by at least 1 hour. When you don't call her back she will call you back, give you attitude and suggest that you cancel your order without actually saying it.

This review may be a tad bit biased, as I am speaking as a mother of three who rarely goes to the store, and my most recent visit was on a Monday morning around 8AM. Either way, my time wandering the store, trying to clear my mind before jumping into my day, was definitely one of the most peaceful places I've been in a while. The employees appeared to be working hard, aware of my presence and friendly as can be. Pretty great donut selection at that time too, and I even snapped a pic of a couple unique areas I thought looked noteworthy. One was appropriate for fun new seasonal items and the other was a bourbon nook. I also remembered passing by an area with fan gear for local schools. So you'll have to go see those for yourself!
The only thing I really was not able to find was a designated clearance area, aside from Easter leftovers on kiosks near the home side of the store. Thankfully there was a price checker nearby though 🙂

Only 1 checkout open entire store that you can buy alcohol at. Waited in line, line 7 carts deep blocking main aisle. Where is the manager!
