Welcome to "Mi Ranchito". You can't beat the atmosphere at the South Jordan Location, although the other three locations are great as well.
Great portions and quality of food and service at Mi Ranchito are part of the great success of this Mexican restaurant.
The variety of plates is way larger than most other restaurants.
Give this place a chance and I bet
you will be back for more.

Best authentic Mexican restaurant in Utah! My favorites are the fajitas and their chimichangas! The energy is great and the service is amazing! I love that it’s family owned too!! Don’t leave without trying their piña coladas; you won’t regret it! Absolutely LOVE this place!

Good Mexican food with a large menu with diverse options. The fresh chips and salsa are delicious and spicy with great flavors. Portions are large and filling and a great value for the money. A great place for families.

We were there about 7 on a Thursday night. It was packed, but we got seated immediately. Waiter brought chips and salsa within just a couple of minutes and was very attentive. Got our orders in and food came surprisingly fast. It was hot and fresh and delicious. I was blown away by how fast and efficient everything was especially considering how busy they were. Waiter was very friendly and helpful and didn't show stress or annoyance even though he was also waiting on a 20 person table adjacent to us. Super impressed. Flavor of the salsa and chips really good. And the food tasted very good. I got the Supreme burrito and it is worth the money. Huge burrito and least a foot long. Fed me for lunch the next day too. We will definitely be back. Well done.
11/2024 Update. We've been back multiple times and are always very impressed with the service and the food. So good.

Wonderful atmosphere and amazing food. Their homemade guacamole is prepared right in front of you and it is to die for! They were able to serve our group of 20 in a decent timely manner. I will say I wasn't super impressed with their beans and rice, but the main dish of the meal, which for me was the enchiladas, it was really good. I also appreciate that they have good kids meals for the picky eaters and those who don't really like Mexican food.

I had the pork enchilada with chile relleno first off their salsa is amazing with the chips so perfect no need for salt. Then onto the food The rice has a yummy tomato taste and the beans were perfectly salted not to mention the enchilada and relleno or one of the best I've had in a very long time!!!!

Oh oh and we had a spicy margarita and two house margaritas at our table and all of them were so refreshing and so perfect it was unreal!!!

HIGHLY recommend this place I can't believe we waited so long to try it out! We will be back!!

Really good Mexican style food!

The smothered shreded beef burrito and the Chile Verde burrito were both very good.
We also ordered the freshly made at your table guacamole. It was fantastic, everyone at our table loved it. Having it made fresh at the table added to the dining experience.

Will eat here again for sure.

Staff could be a little more friendly.

Decided to give Mi Ranchito a try for lunch. No problem getting a table. Restaurant has a charming but if character. Chips and salsa, which was pretty flavorful, were on the table in no time. Broad menu to appeal to a variety of tastes. Server was super friendly, tolerating well my ancient, Cuban-accented out of practice Spanish.

I got the carne asada burrito with rice and beans. One thing I appreciated is that our entrees were NOT served 90 seconds after ordering like some other sit-down Mexican restaurants here behind the Zion Curtain. Once served, the beans were the star of the show. So, so good. It felt like they were cooked in lard or some other glorious fat and that’s an awesome thing. My carne asada burrito was good. The carne itself was a little greasy for my liking in an asada. Not enough for me to be disappointed though, still a hearty tasty burrito.

Nice place. Would return.
