My husband and I have a tradition of getting couple massages after Christmas as a way of starting the new year right. This year we tried U.mi massage and it was by far our favorite massage we've ever had! After they left the room my husband said "We should come here every other month!" It was that good!

I read a review that mentioned the reviewer wouldn't classify it as a relaxing spa massage and I agree, although I did find it very relaxing. I would classify this as a therapeutic massage. The kind where you find out where you are carrying your pain/emotions and they use their knowledge to get rid of all of it so you leave feeling energized.

My legs have been in pain for several months now and normally a quick trip to the chiropractor gets me by but this has persisted. After one visit the pain in my legs is gone! I'm absolutely amazed!

They also offer cupping, which I'm particular about, but I would have no problem allowing them to do cupping or acupressure on me.

If you go I recommend you skip Groupon and pay them directly as it is the same price.

I recently visited U.mi Massage Parlor with high hopes for a rejuvenating experience, but what I received was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.

First and foremost, the massage lasted significantly shorter than the time I paid for. I had booked a full hour, but my therapist wrapped things up in just 40 minutes. I found myself lying there, confused and disappointed, wondering if I had somehow entered a time warp. When I politely brought this to the attention of the staff, I was met with indifference rather than understanding. It felt like my concerns were brushed aside like a pesky fly.

To add insult to injury, at the end of the session, I was confronted with an awkward and uncomfortable push for a tip. The pressure was palpable, as if I had to compensate for a service that was already lacking. I believe tipping should be a gesture of appreciation for good service, not an obligation coerced from customers. It’s disheartening to see a business resort to such tactics instead of focusing on providing quality service that would naturally inspire gratuity.

The ambiance of the parlor, while initially inviting, quickly faded in the face of poor service and unprofessionalism. The overall experience felt rushed and transactional, lacking the warmth and care one should expect from a massage therapy establishment.

In summary, I would not recommend U.mi Massage Parlor to anyone looking for a genuine and fulfilling massage experience. There are plenty of other places that value their customers and provide the service they promise. Save your time and money—this place is not worth it.

Ella was incredibly skilled, using the perfect pressure and technique to relieve tension I didn’t even know I had. We went in for a couples massage, we were very excited to go back, because our first time was such a great experience. This time I must say I’m very upset with our visit. They turned on the lights, It was very uncomfortable. I caught them scrolling on their phones while giving us massages. I probably won’t ever go back. How do we know scrolling was all they were doing.

I came to SLC on a ski trip and after a few days on the slope I needed some help with my tired muscles. I booked a full hour massage here and this is hands down one of the best messages I have ever had! My therapist is attention to the details (she used a towel to cover my hair so I don't have greasy hair after she used message oil). The space is clean and comfortable. Their price is also very reasonable, but no less great and professional techniques. Also I love to support an Asian-owned/family-owned business 🙂 Will be back again for sure!

I got my first massage here yesterday from Ella and It’s seriously the best massage I’ve ever had! And I’ve gotten quite a lot of massages in my life. I will be sending my friends here for sure. I could tell Ella is incredibly skilled with the body, seriously so good!
The space is beautiful and the energy was great as well!
