Their banh mi was not for us. Bread wasn't too bad but wouldn't order banh mi from here again. The pennywort drink was expired too. Ask for no butter in your banh mi if you have dairy issues.

The fried banana wasn't bad. Maybe it's a place to order out items. Fridge with variety of specialties looked good. They take credit card with a fee. Maybe. We have to try other things.

Banh Mi Dan Han

It is a hidden gem of a restaurant on Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas. It captures the essence of authentic Vietnamese dining with a welcoming ambiance that feels like a warm embrace. As you step inside, you are greeted by the intimate decor and the scent of mouthwatering dishes prepared in the kitchen. The atmosphere is enhanced by friendly staff who embody the spirit of Vietnamese hospitality, ensuring that each guest feels right at home.

The menu at Banh Mi Dan Han celebrates Vietnam's rich culinary heritage, offering an impressive variety of dishes that cater to diverse tastes. With options ranging from aromatic noodle soups to crispy spring rolls and an array of delightful desserts, there's something for everyone to savor. Each dish is prepared using traditional techniques and quality ingredients that honor the authentic flavors of Vietnam.

I couldn't resist indulging in their famous Vietnamese drip coffee accompanied by a classic Banh Mi during my visit. The coffee, brewed slowly through a delightful drip process, boasts a deep, robust flavor profile with notes that dance on the palate. Adding sweet condensed milk transforms this beverage into a creamy, rich, energizing, and satisfying treat—perfect for kickstarting my meal.

The Banh Mi itself is truly the star of the show. Served on a freshly baked baguette that's light and slightly crisp outside, it offers the perfect vessel for a medley of flavorful fillings. The sandwich is generously packed with chả lụa (Vietnamese sausage), fresh cilantro, crunchy cucumber slices, and tangy pickled carrots and daikon. What elevates this dish is the addition of creamy pâté, which adds a luxurious richness, and a drizzle of spicy red chili sauce that offers just the right amount of heat. A light mayonnaise spread complements the flavors beautifully, resulting in a harmonious balance of textures and tastes that make each bite unforgettable.

Banh Mi Dan Han isn't just a cafe; it's an immersive experience that transports you to Vietnam with its authentic flavors and warm environment. This establishment is a treasure for anyone who enjoys genuine Vietnamese cuisine in Las Vegas. Whether you're a local or just visiting, stopping here will surely be a highlight of your culinary journey.

Overall: 2.9/5 [take out]

We placed a phone order for pick-up. Upon arrival, no one was at the front, so we browsed the fridge and other displayed food items. After waiting a while, we called out to the kitchen, as it seemed only one person was working. The payment process was quick and easy. Fortunately, they accepted cards and offered a buy 5, get 1 free banh mi deal. Each sandwich was labeled and numbered, which was very helpful.

Unfortunately, the banh mis didn't quite meet our expectations. The bread wasn't toasted, the sandwiches weren't warm nor had a lot of filling, and the flavors were inconsistent or lacking.

#1 Banh Mi Dac Biet/House Special ($6.25): Average. The pate was the only part that stood out.

#2 Banh Mi Thit Nuong/Grilled Pork ($6.25): Some parts were good while other parts were okay. However, this banh mi was the second best one we tried.

#5 Banh Mi Ba Chi/Pork Belly ($6.25): The pink skin border was tough and had to be discarded. Eating was challenging due to the need to constantly remove the skin, and the pork belly lacked flavor.

#11 Banh Mi Pho ($6.75): This was the best of the 6 we tried. It had the most flavor and tasted good. You have to eat it right away or else the bread will get soggy.

#12 Banh Mi Bo Nuong/Grilled Beef ($6.75): This one had an interesting flavor profile that I couldn't put my finger on. I think it has a lemongrass taste, but couldn't really tell due to the small portion of meat.

#13 Banh Mi Bo La Lot/Beef Wrapped in Wild Betel Leaf ($6.75): The flavors were different than what we were expecting. We weren't fans and didn't like the texture either.

This is a nice Vietnamese cafe where they serve the typical fares such as Bahn Mi, noodle soups, and desserts. The price is good and overall experience was good.

I’ve been coming here at least 5-6 times in 2 months to support local Vietnamese restaurant and business, but this time i need to write review and express my disappointment.

First time i tried the Banh Mi bì and pork belly. I liked it but it was cold. I was like ok maybe it let it wait too long.

Second time i return i tried the noodles, Hủ tiếu bò kho. It was alright 7/10. Doesn’t taste much the flavor.

Come back for more banh mi and stay the same. This time i called in advance and only 7 mins away, mentioned on the phone please make it hot and fresh. Arrived and it wasn’t. Requested them to warm it up for me, they handed it back two me two cold sandwiches inside out with no even a heat when i touch my hand on it.

Will not return.

Outstanding food, especially for the price. The beef noodle soup tastes just like ones you’d find in China, and the banh mi is very good (I ordered the number 2). Can’t go wrong with the Banh Beo either, especially with coffee. A fantastic hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant.

Pretty sure this place paid for good reviews. We were the only ones in the restaurant and it took 20 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. You would think they're fresh and warm with how long it took, but no. The sandwiches have like 2 pieces of meat. Goofy ratio of meat to bread.
