I attended the introduction to mindfulness class this past weekend and felt I got the most out of the class. I was a bit skeptical about a 3 hour class, however, Lucas delivers such a passionate and engaging class that the three hours flew by. I need this kind of calm in my life and this class/course is just what I need. I highly recommend Rebel Mindfulness to anyone looking for peace in this ever changing hostile environment we are living in. I will continue to practice mindfulness meditation 5 minutes per day and hope to get to 30+ minutes!!

I recently completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction 8 week course and I have to say, it was life changing. Lucas guides the class with such a professional and relaxed atmosphere and allows for open discussions free from judgement. I highly recommend anyone to attend a workshop or class offered by Rebel Mindfulness. I look forward to my next all day silent meditation!!

My wife and I just completed the introduction to mindfulness class and I must say we absolutely loved it. I went into the class with a bit of skepticism and walked out a believer. I had no idea how to “clear the mind” and I was able to clear my mind and felt a true moment of peace. This is just the first few steps of a lifetime journey for us and we will continue to practice mindfulness. Lucas delivers an impactful and passionate class with such a peaceful and calming natural tone that helped us really get the most out of the class. Rebel Mindfulness is the organic meditation practice without all the new age noise that has made it hard to believe. I will recommend this class and course to all my friends and family.

I attended Lucas’ 3-Hour Intro to Mindfulness class last week offered by Rebel Mindfulness and it was life changing. From the course, you can tell Lucas’s passion for the topic, as he guides you through a very thoughtful and informative meditation session. I learned how to separate myself from the noise of everyday life, and to find peace within myself. He shared tools on how to silence the mind, and to find gratitude for things that we normally take for granted. During the class, I felt as though I could transport out of my body into a peaceful state of mind, the three hours of the class felt like minutes. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who would be looking to achieve this kind of peace within themselves. I am forever thankful that I was able to learn these skills from Lucas and am looking forward to any classes in the future.

Rebel Mindfulness changed my life. I live with Bipolar Disorder and was struggling through one of the lowest periods of my life when I signed up for a Rebel Mindfulness class at UM. It made such a difference that I continued the program online. I learned techniques such as awareness of breath, body scanning, walking meditation and more. I was one of those people who thought I didn't need meditation and wasn't stressed out. One Introduction to Mindfulness class later and I realized just how wrong I was. I ended up taking the MBSR 8 week course, and just 6 weeks in, I can see the difference in myself, how I handle the issues that stress me out - work, family, etc - and the approach I take to ensure it does not make me as anxious as before. By all means, I have not reinvented myself with this course over night - but I feel like I am on my way and I could not have done it without this course. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a new way to deal with every day stresses or just curious about the Mindfulness approach.
